I personally had a delightful dining experience at Que Onda Tacobar, especially enjoying their taco de costra with grilled chicken. The flavors were bold and satisfying, leaving me craving more. Not to mention, their honesty and good-heartedness shone through when they went out of their way to return a lost wallet with all its contents intact. It's moments like these that truly make a dining experience memorable.
Overall, Que Onda Tacobar is a gem that offers delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. Whether you're a taco aficionado or looking to try something new, Que Onda Tacobar is a must-visit destination.
“ Amazingly ran family restaurant with incredible ambiance, food and the staff is very welcoming and loving and will treat you right. The food could easily beat any so called Mexican food around all of Walnut Creek, and beyond. The quesibirrias and consomé reminded me of when I visit my grandparents in Mexico and that is saying something! ”
“ The food is delicious and the handmade style taco tortillas are tasty. I would not go back only because of the outrageous prices. ”
“ This review is long overdue, my apologies, it's been a very busy year. We've been coming here more than several times so far. Most of the time I would have the taco de costra with grilled chicken, fabulous! I've tried other items such as the plantains, quesabirrias, sooooo very good. But what I really want to comment on is about the honesty of the workers there and a Good Samaritan. We ate at Que Onda a few months ago, when my husband didn't realize that his wallet was missing until we got home (a 10-minute drive from Que Onda). We took the time to thoroughly search the car and when that wasn't successful, we drove back to the restaurant. On the way I called them. It was 9pm or close to that, which is when they close. Someone answered, thank goodness! I asked if they found a wallet and right away, the answer was "yes, it's here!" I said that we're on our way there. When we arrived, it was the same 2 workers who were there earlier, Alejandro and Maria Elena. Maria Elena said that a customer turned the wallet in to Alejandro. It had over $500 dollars (we had to make a cash payment the next day). Nothing was missing! The customer didn't want to leave his name. We were so very thankful. As that certain poem ("Desiderata") goes, "with all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world." So true and because of people like Maria Elena, Alejandro and that good Samaritan! ”
“ Everything is great. The mula is amazing. Tons of seating. TVs to watch to watch football. Easy parking. What more do you need? ”
“ My friend invited me to try this place, and everything was looking so good that we couldn't decide, so i just went with my usual, SOME BIRRIAS AND those were the best birrias in WC, i also got one taco al pastor, and their meat had such a fantastic flavor. They have an station of water, dining room was clean, big parking lot right outside. Food was made really quick, and staff very friendly... ”
“ My boyfriend and I came here for some quick & yummy food before our movie. It was our first time here and we wanted to share tacos. From what I recall, our order was $10 for 3 tacos, great price. Exceptional service! Shoutout to the person helping us out and making sure our order was ready promptly. We ordered 1 carne asada, 1 carnitas, & 1 grilled chicken taco. The meat was packed with flavor and it filled our stomachs well for the movie. The tortilla chips were nice & crisp. 10/10! Try it out if you're looking for a quick bite before or after a movie. ”
